Designed by mymymy Architects, the interior design of Such & Such embraces the maximalist philosophy that more is more. The restaurant is a vibrant collage of textures, colours, and finishes that come together in perfect harmony like no other.
The combination of Santa Margherita marble with varieties such as Palladio Fenice, Rosa del Garda, Verde Alpi, and Arabescato Bianco is arranged in an intricate pattern that provides a visual feast—while still maintaining a sense of balance for diners.
More than a backdrop, this centrepiece of colour sets the foundation of the restaurant’s identity, anchoring the space with its rich, dynamic presence. The deep greens, blush pinks, and cool whites of the marble tiles don’t compete; they complement, creating an atmosphere that’s luxurious without being overbearing.
The attention to detail extends beyond the flooring. Custom furniture from SKEEHAN Studio and bespoke joinery by Beclau perfectly match the marble’s elegant style, while the muted tones of the upholstery and warm wood finishes provide balance. The result is a space where every element enhances the other, from design to dish — being named 2023’s Best New Restaurant by the Good Food Awards and earning a shortlisted for Best Restaurant Design by the Eat Drink Design Awards.
